Course Objective To create an awareness for the perspectives to education in the world throughout the periods since human existence. To be able to analyze the variables which have a role on differentiating and developing the education systems. To make an inference for the reflection of basic educational changes and transformation to modern days and future.
Course Content Education in antique age (Egypt, Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Indian, China, Antique Greece and Rome civilizations); education in societies of middle-age, new-age, eastern, western and islamic; education and renaissance, reform, enlightenment acts; education in industrial and modern age; relation of islamic culture and civilization with western civilization; arousing of nation-states and development of national education systems; post-modern society arguments and education; fundamental changes and transformations in education in the world from antique age to modern days
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
