COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	The aims of this lesson are to gain students knowledge and skills about volleyball, to know general characteristics of the volleyball, to follow the historical development of volleyball in the world and in Türkiye, to know the rules of volleyball, to define the basic techniques of volleyball such as finger pass, overarm pass, service, smack and block.
Course Content	Voleyball history, the rules of volleyball, finger-passing, service, basic techniques of volleyball such as killing, blocking, hitting, defense and attacking systems and principles.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

Goals		The aims of this lesson are to gain students knowledge and skills about volleyball, to know general characteristics of the volleyball, to follow the historical development of volleyball in the world and in Türkiye, to know the rules of volleyball, to define the basic techniques of volleyball such as finger pass, overarm pass, service, smack and block.
Content		Voleyball history, the rules of volleyball, finger-passing, service, basic techniques of volleyball such as killing, blocking, hitting, defense and attacking systems and principles.

1	Handball game rules to the definition. Historical development of the world and in Turkey.
2	Ball holding; ball-throwing and exercises to keep the game.
3	Pass types; basic rust, the rust spread, wrist pass, neck rust, rust from the bottom.
4	Dribbling and shooting in the castle basic shots are, the bounce of the shot, the shots are falling.
5	Individual defense basic stance, the front side slip back into action, block.
6	Of deception; collective, ball-free.
7	Goalkeeper basic stance, movement step shift in the castle. Goalkeeper of the attack missions, defense missions of the goalkeeper.
8	Fast attack, fast attack simple, organized, fast attack
9	Midterm
10	Group attack; traversal, position change, downloads, their branches, screening-rolling.
11	Group defense in the front to take out-safety, back pull-shot to work in the block, screen escape.
12	Attack and defense group exercises teaching; floor making, scarcity and abundance in the defense, attack and defense studies.
13	Team attack; 3-3,2-4 attack systems, the abundance and scarcity in the attack, collective and top floors and attack-free sets.
