Course Objective To provide knowledge on fundamentals of fluid mechanics which is often encounter in the automotive engineering students’ professional lives.
Course Content Dimensional analysis and modeling, flow in pipes, the Navier-Stokes equations, resistance and buoyancy, compressible flow.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Understand fundamentals of fluid mechanics.
2Determine the hydrostatic pressure forces.
3Determine the conservation equations for frictionless flow.
4Understand the friction flows.
5Knowledge on fundamentals of dimensional analysis, aerodynamic modeling and forces.
