Course Objective Providing basic information about production methods of special steels including their properties and heat treatment parameters, and application fields
Course Content Steel grades advances the purposes of special steel production and manufacturing technologies, special steels and heat treatment of steel the characteristics of the effects of additions of alloying elements, dual-phase steels, microalloyed steels, the new generation steels, Maraging steels and their properties, and characteristics of Hadfield steel, IF steel, high-speed steel, mold steel, hot work, cold work tool steels, austenitic, ferritic, martensitic and duplex stainless steels, special steels areas, and design examples.
