Course Objective To provide wide spectrum information about welding technologies such as; arc welding methods and oxy-gas welding process and theirs welding equipment.
Course Content The definition of weld and related terms, Classification of welding processes, Arc and oxy-gas welding equipments and machines, The ignition of arc and occurring the oxy-flame, Arc welding machine and working principles, Flammable and nonflammable gas in oxy-gas welding process, Acetylene manufacturing machine and working principles, Welding consumable in the arc welding methods, Arc blowing and distortion, Preparing for weld, joining types and welding positions, Brazing and soldering, Health and safety in welding.
