COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	To learn about general architectural concepts and structural systems.
Course Content	Concepts of general architecture (ratio, dimension, module, function, space, texture, rhythm, symmetry, color, form, unity, light, shadow etc.) Human and human dimensions, importance and importance of anthropometric dimensions in architecture, as well as basic information on interior, exterior and mass forming problems, as well as background, carrier system, vertical and horizontal structural elements, building environment interaction problems, building elements, building shell relations, architectural planning process, organizational function diagrams structural and constructive inspection of the structure, building gaps and vertical circulation elements, roof formation.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	The concept of architecture, understanding the history of architecture and architecture in architecture
2	To be able to analyze the architectural design process.
3	Learning structure concepts as structure and building separately.
4	To be able to classify the buildings according to their different characteristics.
