Course Objective To discuss the concept of the broad participation, transparency and collaborate in the context of the planning and policy relations, to comment the principles of public welfare and benefit of society, to examine the concepts of the managerial–governance in terms of planning process, to evaluate power relations in planning in the context of urban management.
Course Content Politics, society, power, management concepts, urban management and its tools in the context of policy–management–political power, urban management models in the USA and EU, national planning systematic, the concepts of broad participation, transparency and collaborative planning approach, the institutional and managerial background of the planning and implementation process, in the context of legal framework,  regulations/codes relating with the institutional organizations such as Municipality and its Codes.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
