Course Objective
The aim of this course is to investigate the basic and detailed characteristics of building elements and materials and to ensure the knowledge and skills related with structure-material-design relations and architectural detail analysis and development.
Course Content
Roofing systems, roofing materials, facade materials, innovative building materials and applications, insulation materials, insulation types used in construction, movable, fixed furniture used in buildings and design criteria for disabled people will be introduced to students as theoretical and practical.
