Course Objective It brings in skill and knowledge about the topics of alternative current(AA)machines, asynchronous machines,step motors,servo motors and specialed types motors.
Course Content Alternative current machinery, structures, types, characteristics, usage area, characteristic curves and calculates. Single phase machinery types, usage areas. Alternators, Voltage calculating of induced voltage in alternators. Synchronous machinery, V curves, adjusting of power coefficient at synchronous machinery.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Recognizes the structure and operation principle of alternating current motors
2Identifies the types of alternating current motors, characteristics, and applications
3Defines one-phase and three phase motor types and applications, and makes the necessary calculations
4Analyze a system using different electrical machines, and makes comments
5Obtains electrical equivalent circuit of the machine parameters.
