Course Objective Revising the Computer Engineering discipline and area of interest with applications. Preparing students to Computer Engineering core subjects.
Course Content Introduction to computer science, fundamentals of computer systems, operations on data and data structures, Boolean algebra, computer arithmetic, machine language, computer architecture, logic circuits, operating systems, office applications, high level and low level programming languages and applications, assembly language, translators and interpreters, operating systems, human computer interfaces and GUIs. File organization and access, file processing, database architecture, information systems, data communications and networks, software engineering applications.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite CENG 140 INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER ENGINEERING
