Course Objective	The course will investigate the restructuring of the state in the light of the transformation of capital accumulation regimes since the 1970’s. It will also focus on the sociological and political consequences of time-space configuration under capitalist dynamics.
Course Content	Course includes the main paradigms of the debate of globalization; the crisis of late capitalism, critical geography, hegemonic restructuring of the neo-liberal state and their impacts on the Turkish context.

Mode of Delivery	Face to face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Understands the relationship between production and capital accumulation processes with globaliziation fact.
2	Understands the state’s organization and dynamics in relation with political economy
3	Critically assesses the phenomenon of Globalization with a specific angle covering critical geography, time – space compression and nation state’s changing roles.
