Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide students with understanding of the importance of agriculture, the capability of analyzing and evaluating the contents and the results of agricultural policies in Turkey.
Course Content Agricultural sectors functions that are expected to fulfill nowadays, share of agricultural sector in GDP and economic development, agricultural production functions, Small and Big size enterprises in agriculture, agricultural mechanization and agricultural policies in Turkey are the topics that will be explained in the course.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Explain How was pass from hunting and normadic life to setlled agriculture
2Define the basic functions and activities of agriculture
3Analyse the agricultural production function and the share of agriculture in Gross Domestic Product(GDP)
4Explain the relations among agricultural population boom, productivity, and emigration
5Debate the feature of the small and big enterprises in agriculture and their condition in Turkey
6Explain the demand and supply features of agricultural products
7Discuss the proses agricultural mechanization in Turkey
8Explain the prices of agricultural products and the cause of the price unstability of agricultural products
9Explain the government intervention in agricultural products and The characteristics of Turkish agricultural supporting policies
10examine the evoluate of the ınternational agricultural product trade
