Course Objective
To provide a general perspective concerning the field of translation. To develop a consciousness of translation. To provide a passing from the transmission competence to the translation competence. To provide awarness concerning technical translation.
Course Content
With reference to different texts, the topics in the first term will be studied further by studying the relationship of translation/grammar, denotation/connotation in translation, the signs helpful in textual analysis.
