Course Objective The aim of course is identify historical and artistic process of Ottoman art from beginning to 18th centruy.
Course Content Architectural works of Ottoman Empire beginning from 1754 to 1839 will be shown.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

1Will be able to recognize the general character of the post-classic Ottoman art.
2Will be able to emphasize the general character of the post-classic Ottoman art.
3Will be able to discuss the socio-cultural structure and reasons of change in the Tulip Period.
4Will be able to comprehend plan and ornamentation features of architectural monuments in İstanbul.
5Will be able to explain the effect of Western Art on changing style of architectural monuments of Istanbul.
6Will be able to define and compare Classical Ottoman art and differences in its own.
7Will be able to explain features of III.Selim Period architecture, monuments in provincial and handcrafts.
8Will be able to define differences of art between İstanbul and provincial.
9Will be able to give detailed information about important Anatolian buildings of III. Selim period.
10Will be able to identify features of painting art took place in provincial architecture.
