Course Objective The aim of course is examining the periods of Proto- Turks and the Huns, beginning from the cultures of Central Asia in the Neolithic period, to display the transfer, change and development of tradition on Turkish art tradition.
Course Content The lesson examines the reflections of cultural values concerning periods of Turk and Hun on the Turkish Art starting from cultures of Central Asia in the Neolithic period .

1 Sources will be able to introduced relating to lesson; Importance of Central Asian Art on Turkish Art researches will be explained.
2 Will be able to define general data about geography of Central Asia and its climate, main mountains, lakes and living quarters.
3 Will be able to examine innovations of living quarters on Central Asia as from Mesolithic, Neolithic and Paleolithic Period.
4 Will be able to recognize first artifacts of Turkish Art in Central Asia and rock-paintings according to Proto-Turkish Period; be distinguishing general features of art according to samples.
5 Will be able to evaluate cultural structure of Andronova, Karasuk and Tagar and defining artworks according to this period.
6 Will be able to explain phases of developing of Hun Art and will be defining funeral ceremonies; cairn architecture.
7 Will be able to examine Pazırık Cairns and will be defined objects found from cairns
8 Will be able to evaluate metal objects from Pazırık Cairn, its manufacture techniques and features with regard to their style.
9 Will be able to evaluate textile fragments from Pazırık Cairn, Rudenko Carpet will be defined comprehensively. Will be discussed its part in Turkish Textile Art in terms of its working and composition; and will be examining developing of textile art.
10 Mid-term.
11 Will be able to examine Noiunula Cairns.
12 Will be able to evaluate painting and sculpture art in the light of samples of Hun art in terms of style features.
13 Will be able to discuss tabernacle art as a base of Central Asia architecture; will explaining types of tabernacles and their parts.
14 Will be able to examine features of Animal Style of Central Asia with the samples which were made at the Hun period, before and after it.
