Course Objective This course examines accounting transactions related to inventory, fixed assets, and liabilities during the accounting period and prepares year-end inventory records.
Course Content The course covers year-end accounting procedures, inventory transactions, valuation procedures, the review of revenue and expense accounts, inventory transactions, the recording of accounts receivable and accounts payable, fixed asset transactions, depreciation and amortization, liabilities, equity transactions, an introduction to cost accounting, and year-end closing entries. The course aims to enable students to analyze accounting processes using practical examples.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Makes accounting entries related to trade receivables and payables, as well as other receivables and payables.
2It tracks inventory movements. It manages inventory transactions during the period and at the end of the period.
3Understands the cost principle for fixed assets and applies depreciation.
4It resolves issues related to sources and classifies them as either external or internal.
5Applies the principles of income and expense accounting and can calculate net income for the period.
