Course Objective The main aim of the course is to strengthen the ties between the university and the society by using the knowledge, skills and experience that students have acquired throughout their educational life. To ensure that they gain sensitivity about various issues and problems, especially humanitarian, social, economic, etc. problems, migration and disasters in society, disabled people, disadvantaged groups. To ensure the development of humanitarian, social, cultural, moral values and skills through some volunteering activities they will participate in and realise, and to increase visibility and awareness on issues of high social sensitivity such as disabled life, migration and disasters. In this way, it is to enable students to take part in voluntary work in a volunteering field of their choice for a semester within a plan to be prepared in advance and to share the results.
Course Content Basic concepts of volunteer work, historical development, models and approaches, Ethical, Moral, Religious, Traditional Values and Principles Conducting inter-institutional studies on the implementation of volunteering projects (Social studies fair) Basic Concepts of Project Development, Reporting, Management, Organization, Budgeting Identification of volunteer teams, team coordinators and topics Evaluation of Preparations for Volunteer Activities in the Field Participation in Volunteer Activities in the Field
