Course Objective This course aims to make students aware of legal provisions that apply to the banking and insurance sector.
Course Content In this course, the Bank's operations are subject to the provisions of the legislation, the Banking Law, the Law on the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Undersecretariat of Treasury powers, restrictions on the establishment of banks, the banks organs, the definition and types of deposits, bank guarantee claims, legal proceedings, lawsuits, and follow-up authorization rules the banks' supervision and control will be discussed. The emergence and development of the idea of ​​insurance, insurance law resources, insurance benefits, insurance industry, insurance companies operating in Turkey, insurance companies control the general provisions of the insurance law, insurance contracts, properties, elements of the insurance contract, insurance documents, the obligations of the parties, insurance types, the general provisions of insurance compensation, compensation insurance types are studied.
