In the Landscape Architecture Department Master's Program with Thesis, Master's education is given by a total of 6 faculty members, 1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor and 4 Dr. Lecturers. Landscape architecture; It is an applied science and professional discipline that includes the planning, design, restoration and management of the land, acting on the principle of protecting and managing natural and cultural landscapes in order to increase the functionality and quality of life of the physical environment.

It focuses on theoretical and practical content such as ecologically based planning, design, repair, protection, development and recovery of the resource values ??of the natural and cultural environment, within the framework of the principle of protection-utilization and sustainability, along with rural, urban and regional development strategies. The aims of the Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture are to enable the student to enhance their potentials and abilities in the area of landscape architecture lifelong learning principles; to have an ability and capability of doing some advanced studies upon landscape planning, environment-landscape management, urban landscape planning-design, urbanization history, ecology-landscape ecology, landscape and garden history, environmental issues and problems; to have a capability of studying interdisciplinary; to follow up the recent scientific-professional developments at international environments and organizations; to be open and willing to international cooperation-collaboration; to design and develop a scientific study and present its results in a scientific format.
