The department of Psychology was founded in 2013 and as of the 2021-2022 academic year, the first undergraduate courses were offered. Instructors in our department lecture courses and carry out their research from different sub-areas of psychology (clinical psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, learning-cognitive-bio-experimental psychology). It was aimed to acquaint students with basic theoretical perspectives, research, and methodology as well as professional and practical skills across a variety of fields in psychology.
As the Department of Psychology, we aim to prepare our students for their future careers, both academically and practically by covering the basic sub-fields of Psychology; to train students with an up-to-date and interdisciplinary approach in both education and research; to develop their professional knowledge and skills with an ethical and scientific perspective, and to train professionals who use it for the benefit of society and humanity.
