The department was established in 2009, started to provide graduate education in 2012 and undergraduate education in 2019. There is 1 Department in the Department, namely Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs are open. The language of instruction is Turkish. The education period is 4 years.

The aim of the department is to train restorers, conservators and scientists who have technical equipment, professional and scientific ethics in the field of protection and restoration of cultural assets. To train qualified professionals who have developed technical knowledge and skills in the field of protection of cultural assets and will contribute to the needs of the country.
