Our department has been offering a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering since fall semester of 2003-2004 academic year. The purpose of the department is to educate Computer Engineers who are dynamic, have up-to date information and can find solutions to real-world problems. The department has also been offering a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering since spring semester of 2002-2003.

The programme provides the necessary background and technical skills to work professionally in computer hardware, software design, computer-based systems, computer network design, system integration or electronic design automation. Graduates are expected to apply scientific and engineering methodology to the design, implementation, analysis, and evaluation of computer based systems. The program provides a broad knowledge of theoretical and practical foundations of engineering and fundamental areas of computer science, such as algorithms, programming languages, web-based technologies, operating systems, computer architecture, database modeling and software engineering.
