1	identifies basic concepts of production management, production systems and strategies.
2	identifies role of the production management in business strategies.
3	comprehends how production function interrelates with the other business functions.
4	explains the impact of production systems and strategies on business productivity
5	takes part in designing the most suitable production systems and processes for business management objectives.
6	takes part in selecting facility location and facility layout.
7	does basic capacity calculations and planning operations based on these.
