Course Objective This course aims to provide information about the concepts of income distribution and poverty, to explain their causes, and to discuss income distribution and poverty alleviation policies.
Course Content In this course, basic concepts related to income distribution and poverty, income distribution theories, characteristics and causes of underdevelopment, the relationship between industrialization, agriculture and development, measurement of income distribution inequality, income distribution and poverty control policies, aims and tools of policies, income distribution and poverty indicators are compared with Turkey and developed and developing countries.
