Course Objective The aim of this course is to study agricultural economics by examining the structure of agriculture and the agricultural policies in Turkey. Also, how international agricultural products are transferred from one country to another country.
Course Content Evolution of agriculture and landownership, Functions of agriculture, General level of agricultural products, Cahnges in the codition of factor supply parallel with economy, Economic growth and decrease in agricultural population, Agricultural production function, Agricultural production and items in production, New type agricultural companies, Prices og agricultural products, Agricultural product supply and demand, Governmental intervention in agriculture, Critique of direct supporting in agricultural production, Varying government intervention in agricultural production, International organization related to agriculture.
