Course Objective In this course, students will study JAPANESE through four skills at the level of A2 according to Japan Foundation JStandart Framework. It is a continuation course of Japanese I -II-III.
Course Content This course focuses on present tense, past and past tense structures, active and passive sentence constructions, the use of suffixes in order to develop students' basic communication, reading, writing and comprehension skills in the Japanese language.

Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Distinguish between sentences expressing process and sentences expressing perfective.
2Can order something and make reservations by phone, online or face to face.
3Can make sentences expressing predictions
4Can distinguish perfective aspect and resultative aspect structures
5Can use adverbs of time in appropriate tenses and aspects
6Can describe to someone how to do something
7Learns expressions of gratitude (3-way giving and receiving)
8Can read and write 320 kanji with basic kanjis and variants.
