Course Objective	The aim of this course is to give the students a good empirical understanding of microeconometric methods in applied work.
Course Content	Economic issues and concept of Microeconometric Model,micro economic data structures and an application,linear models, regressions and loss functions, ordinary least squares, weighted least squares,median and quantile regression,Model Estimation with instrumental variables,Generalized Method of Moments ans Systems Estimation,Semiparametric Methods,Bayesian Methods
Prerequisites	EKNM 301 ECONOMETRICS - I ve EKNM 305 APPLIED ECONOMICS SOFTWARE - I
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery	Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Can construct and interpret the binary choice and multinomial models and can test the validity of these models.
2	Know the semiparametric and bayesian models.
3	Can make required tests and choose the right model.
4	Know the estimation methods and can choose the right method.
5	Can construct and interpret the median and quantile regression models.
