Course Objective The aim of this course is to clarify the development of Turkish internal politics within its historical background and to evaluate the evolution of Turkish democracy over the titles of constitution, military, political parties and civil society.
Course Content Single-Party Regime, Transition to Multi-Party Politics, Coup d’état of 27th May, Coalition Governments, 12th March Military Intervention, The Coup d’état of 12th September, Political life after 1983.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
